Club Exotica events are co-created pieces of temporary social art which bring together theme, venue, characters, acts, performances, music (DJ's and live), decor, food, volunteers, invite and a sexy/sensual/hot flavor or theme. These ingredients, in turn, invite the final and (in many ways) most important ingredients—the guests—to create a beautiful and inspiring masterpiece we call a "sexy party".
When we craft these parties, we look for the best of all these elements. For various acts and performances, what makes them "best" to us is not only skill and experience, but also a desire to contribute personally to the event. This is, in fact, the gift we ask of each of the guest who attend our events: that they bring something to share, whether it be $, time/effort or a particular act, and a deep desire to connect. And as we continue to work together and Club Exotica grows and becomes more sustainable, so will the possibilities of $ being part of the equation for you. But mainly, we care that you desire to share yourself and your skills, and be at our event in that context.

Venue
For a venue to be great for a Club Exotica party, logistically it generally needs to have enough space for at least 100 VIP's (for an upscale event), 200-300 people (for a sexy party) or 300+ people for a second base party. It must have some form of accessible parking for at least half of the capacity. It must also have at least 2 bathrooms and at least 2 large spaces for music to be played (indoor + outdoor is also good). A plus is a venue that has an area that can hold all the guests for the opening ceremony.
Mainly, a venue must be nothing short of *amazing*, whether by it's style or by its quirkiness.
Characters
Characters are the lifeblood of Club Exotica events. They weave amongst the guests and energetically guide them to correct behavior and actions during the night. They have amazing costume, know how to command attention, and love to connect with people. To be considered as a character, you must have quite a bit of presence or a *very* interesting character to show off.
Acts, Performances, Live Music and DJ's
Because they call so much attention onto them, acts/performances/Live Music/DJ's need to fit the theme precisely. Often, artists will be asked to modify their act or performance, costume or behavior to better fit theme. If you are a artist who is flexible and love to grow your art and co-create a perfect vision, our events are for you!
Decor & Lighting
While the venue provides an amazing container for the event, further decor is generally needed to visually and sensually create the theme and flavor of the event. This is much more than hanging a bit of fabric, building some structures or plugging in some lights: this is about giving guests the impression of walking into an alternate reality where they can become more or other than who they usually are.
Food & Drinks
Much like decor and lighting, food transforms the guests experience sensorially, so every aspect of it needs to be perfect, making the guests feel well taken care of and energized all night long.
Volunteers
Just want to help but have no specific preference? We often need help in the following areas: door, greeting, setup, strike, food prep, security, etc. Just contact us when you hear about an event and we'll let you know how you can help!
Classes and Workshops
When our events last more than a single night, we commonly have a veriety of classes that fit the theme to give an opportunity for our guests to connect. Classes should be well honed and should give ample ways for our guests to get to know each other or themselves.
